Our main objective is to pay the pensions that have been promised to our members when they fall due. Our investments, and the contributions we receive from members and employers, create the income required to achieve this objective.
The LPFA publishes an Investment Strategy Statement that sets out the Fund’s investment objectives and how the Fund is invested to meet those objectives.

The day-to-day strategy implementation and investment management are delegated to Local Pensions Partnership Investments (LPPI), which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. LPPI is a subsidiary of the Local Pensions Partnership (LPP), which was formed through a collaboration between the LPFA and Lancashire County Council.
