Working at LPFA is challenging, rewarding and sometimes even fun!

Senior Facilities Support Officer: I started like a lot of others as a temp and nearly 4 years later I am still here! I really enjoy working for the LPFA because all the staff are nice and very approachable also the benefit of having flexitime in lieu now is really good.

The annual Staff Awards Gala and Christmas party are always rewarding and great fun!  I think the gala is a nice touch, showing appreciation for staff’s contribution and for others to recognise the hard work and qualifications that other members of staff are doing, which may not always be seen by everyone, it is also a good opportunity to have an afternoon together away from the office.
Since starting permanently the LPFA have offered me training and progression opportunities which I have grasped and as a result have been promoted and taken on more responsibility.

Investments Team Member: I have worked at LPFA for almost 2 years and have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. It has a particularly friendly atmosphere, which is not easily found in an organisation of its size. They have also been very encouraging and supportive of my career development, even funding a professional qualification. LPFA are focused on becoming a centre of excellence within the LGPS and the wider pensions industry, the ambition of the organisation is infectious.
