www.london.gov.uk is the official website for the Mayor of London. The Mayor appoints the members of LPFA's Board. The Mayor sets the annual budget for five organisations; these organisations, which have become known as the 'GLA Group comprise:

Local Government Employers (LGE) works closely with the Local Government Association (LGA), local authorities, regional employers and other bodies to provide national leadership, representation and solutions on pay, pensions and employment issues in local government. LGE provides the website for and on behalf of Local Government Pension Scheme Pension Funds, participating employers and their staff. www.lgps.org.uk

Communities and Local Government (CLG) The Department responsible for the LGPS. www.communities.gov.uk

Pensions Regulator - launched in April 2005 the Pensions Regulator is the regulator of work-based pensions in the UK. www.thepensionsregulator.gov.uk

National Association of Pension Funds -  representing the interests of the occupational pensions movement www.napf.co.uk
